Inbox Notification Settings are available within Transactions, allowing you to:

* Choose which inbox tabs send email alerts
* Reduce unnecessary notification noise
* Stay updated on important transaction activity like commissions and deal updates
* Personalize your notification experience based on your workflow

### How It Works

Within Transactions Admin, you’ll see an **Inbox Notifications** icon where you can manage your notification preferences.

Simply:

1. Navigate to **Transactions**
2. Click the **Inbox Notifications** icon
3. Toggle email notifications on or off for desired inboxes
4. Close the panel to automatically save your preferences

Your settings are saved instantly and can be updated anytime.

### Why This Matters

Transaction coordinators, admins, and agents often manage multiple inboxes and workflows throughout the day. This gives you more control over your email alerts so you can focus on the updates that require your attention without being overwhelmed by unnecessary notifications.

### Best Practice

Enable notifications only for inboxes you actively monitor or manage daily. This helps reduce inbox fatigue while ensuring you never miss critical updates.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.rechat.com/appendix/brokerage-set-up/transaction-management-deals/inbox-notification-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
