# Manual Contact

Rechat lets you manually create new contacts, perfect for when you need to add one or more contacts quickly.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **People: Contacts**. 
2. Click **New Contact** in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Click **Add Contact**.
4. Complete the **New Contact** form.
   1. First Name
   2. Last Name
   3. Tags
   4. Source
   5. Auto Reminder
   6. Email
   7. Phone
   8. Contact Owner (Learn More)

If you're an assistant, or part of a team, creating a contact for someone else, click on 'Owner' and choose the member you're adding the contact for. You’ll still be able to view and update the contact.
