# Manage a Listing Deal

A listing Deal keeps the seller, listing information, dates, documents, photos, tasks, marketing, offers, and closing activity connected in one workspace.

### Listing workflow

1. Create the Deal and select the seller side.
2. Add the seller, Seller Agent, and other requested contacts.
3. Review the listing information and important dates.
4. Review the brokerage-provided Listing checklist.
5. Prepare or upload the required listing documents.
6. Send documents for signature when needed.
7. Submit completed documents to the office for review.
8. Add property photos and create available marketing.
9. Add an offer when the seller accepts a contract.
10. Manage the Deal through closing.

### Review the Listing checklist

The Listing section contains the documents and requirements associated with securing and managing the listing. Required items and available forms vary by brokerage and transaction.

### Manage listing dates and information

Review the Timeline and Deal information for items such as:

* Listing Start Date
* Listing Expiration
* MLS number
* List price
* Property type
* Seller and Seller Agent

Some MLS-connected information may be controlled by the listing data rather than manually editable.

### Add photos and create marketing

Use the **Photos** tab to manage available property images. Use the **Marketing** tab to access available marketing workflows connected to the Deal.

### When an offer is accepted

Select **Add Offer** from the Deal header and complete the guided questionnaire. Rechat will preserve the Listing checklist and add the contract-specific information and Offer checklist to the same Deal.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.rechat.com/guides/deals/manage-a-listing-deal.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
