# Defining Contexts

**Step 1:** Go to **Deals** **Settings** > **Contexts**.

**Step 2:** Click **Create** **Context**.

**Step 3:** Enter a **Context** **Title** (e.g., “Residential Buyer”), Type and ID.

**Step 4:** Set requirements: mark contexts as **Required**, **Optional**, or **N/A**.

**Step 5:** Save your context.

Without contexts, all agents see the same generic fields. Contexts tailor the workflow and required information to each type of deal.
