# Client Celebrations
Birthdays and anniversaries are some of the most personal and important touches to have with your sphere, especially with your past and current clients. **It's an easy win.**
With **Triggers**, you can automate celebration emails for your contacts’ birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and home anniversaries—ensuring you never miss a chance to stay top of mind.
Rechat will automatically display birthday and anniversary reminders on the Daily and your Calendar. Each birthday reminder includes an email template that you can use to wish the person a happy birthday if you choose not to enable the **Triggers** automation.
## Setting Up Triggers
**Step 1:** Go to **My Settings**.
**Step 2:** Click **Triggers**.
**Step 3:** Choose the touchpoint you want to automate (like a birthday).

Birthday, Home Anniversary and Wedding Anniversary can be automated, but Rechat can still track and remind you about a contact's child's birthday(s), pet's birthday(s), spouse's birthday and work anniversary.

**Step 4:** Click **Select a Template**.
**Step 5:** Choose a template you like. Keep in mind all contacts with a matching celebration date will be enrolled to receive this email.
**Step 6:** Personalize your email with **Placeholders** and more by clicking **Edit Template**.
**Step 7:** Customize the subject line and if you'd like the email delivered in advance of the celebration date.
**Step 8:** Once you're done, click **Save** to enable the trigger moving forward.
Emails are sent automatically, but you can toggle them on or off at any time. If you don’t want a contact to receive a celebratory email, simply opt them out directly from their contact record. This easy setup lets you focus on other tasks while ensuring your clients feel valued on their special days.
